VBW - Bogie Sitting Car

VBW and similar VFW_ cars were standby cars on the standard gauge line between Melbourne and Sydney. They were used for holiday periods and for special trains when extra carriages were required

VBW 1 was built as an _AW_ car in 1925 and converted to standard gauge in 1972.
