Spirit of Progress Cars - 'Dining Car'
The Dining Car was built and placed into service 17/11/1937
for the 'Spirit of Progress' service. In ran on the broad gauge until
this train was converted for standard gauge running.
During January 1963, the car entered S.O.P. service as the
Murray car.
