Ten container wagons were modified from bogie open wagons in 1994/1995. Twistlock and container brackets were added to VOFX wagons and the doors were removed.
The containers were loaded by large forklifts. As the forklift drivers had difficulty placing the containers, large slots were cut out of the wagon sides to allow sighting of the anchors.
VQOX numbers are: 11, 133, 302, 355, 1036, 1091, 1092, 1121, 1157, 1164.
