To provide a safety wagon between the engine and tank wagons on an oil train, a VFKX wagon was relettered to VKKF.
VFKX 40 was recoded to VKKF at North Geelong Yard about July 1994.
In 1996 the vehicle was sighted at Corio Sidings.
