For transmission cable transport, two _S__ wagons were modified with cable drum cradles. S 60 was modified to SEF 60 and placed into service December 1962. S 26 was converted to SEF 26 and placed into service May 1963.
SEF 26 seems to have been a replacement for SEF 60. In May 1963 SEF 60 was downrated to low speed ( 45mph ) and reclassed to SE. Three months later it was returned to service as SEF 60.
In April 1965, the SEF wagons were reclassed to _SC_. SEF 26 became _SC_ 26 and SEF 60 became SC 60.
SE 26 was in service between May and August of 1963 before being restored back to SEF 26. Area of traffic is not known, though at the time, the Hazelwood Power Station was under construction
