About 1984 the 'Overland' Roomette sleeping berth cars were split into two classes: JRA and JRB_.
The only difference between the classes is the age of the cars. Early built cars were reclassed to JRA.
Cars Mururi, Chalaki, Nankuri, Purpawi, Juki and Tarkinji became JRA 1 to 6 respectively.
