The BZS class were recoded from the cars taken off the standard gauge train services in about 1991.
Cars VFK_ 271 - 276 were replaced to broad gauge and recoded to BZS during 1991/1992.
The BZS group were refitted with new interiors and reclassed to BZN_ during 1995/1996.
