The car was issued to service on 14/4/1928.
After six months in the workshops being modified with air conditioning, the car re-entered service as Sleeping Car 1.
The car was damaged in a level crossing accident at Irymple in 1969.
By 1990 the car was painted blue/yellow and by 1991 the car had been renamed to "Werribee".
