The car was issued to service 17/10/1919.
It was fitted with autocouplers June 1936. In January 1937, "Alliance" automatic couplings were fitted.
By 1974 it was stored in Adelaide.
By 1991 it was with the Steamranger group.
By 1995 the car had been sold to West Coast Rail.
