"Hopkins" was built new and issued to service in 1927.
In September 1935 it was modified with autocouplings. In May 1936 it was fitted with transition couplings and was refitted with autocouplers again in June 1936.
In 1950 it was sold to the Commonwealth Railways and apparently scrapped in the 1970's.
